How to get to my place

The address is 280 Mulberry St. Apt. 15, New York, NY 10012.

By subway

The closest subway station to my home is the Broadway-Lafayette station of line B, D, F and Q. It is only one block away. Bleecker Street station of line 6 or Prince Street station of the N and R are about 3 blocks away. A subway ride costs USD 1.50 and tokens can be bought at every station.

From JFK by subway

From the airport terminal take the free shuttle bus to the subway station. Take the A-train to Manhattan. Change to the B, D, Q or F going to Brooklyn at West 4th Street. Get out at the next stop which is Broadway-Lafayette and from there it is only one block to my house. In total it takes about an hour and 15 minutes.

A word about safety

Mulberry Street is part of the SoHo area, which is a busy shopping area during the day and a trendy nightlife spot after dark. Even late at night there will still be people on the street, which makes it one of the safest areas in New York City. If you do not feel 100 percent comfortable, just give me a call at 917 597 0719 from the station platform and I will come and pick you up.

On foot

The apartment building is on Mulberry Street half a block south of Houston Street in between Houston and Prince Street.

From the Broadway-Lafayette Street subway station

Coming out of the subway push your way through the crowd and go east on Houston past large ads and the big red Puck building until Mulberry Street. Take a right and my apartment building is about 50 meters (45 yards) further on the left. Ring the doorbell for apartment 15.

By taxi

Tell the driver you are going to Manhattan, to Mulberry Street, between Houston and Prince Street. If for some obscure reason he does not know Mulberry Street, you can tell him that it is next to Lafayette. Have him stop at the right side of the street at number 280.
From midtown Manhattan it's about a 5 dollar ride. From JFK airport it is about USD 40.00 and a 40 minutes ride depending on the traffic.

By car

Driving into Manhattan is kind of silly. If you really want to enjoy the traffic jams follow these directions. Parking on the street in front of the apartment is possible, although it is extremely difficult to find a spot. There is no conveniently located parking garage nearby.
