The
Copan ruins
of the ancient Maya city are amazing. Sam and I took a trip from Antigua, Guatemala
just to visit this site. Definitely worth it, even though we had to get up at 3am to
make our 4am bus. The small town of Copan Ruinas, close to the ruins is pleasant
and clearly prepared to receive tourists in large quantities.
